We are happy to announce the opening of 2 slots for Guest Artists! Remembering new Guest Artists will be chosen every 3 months. Guest Artists will be able to work on Official adoptables sold in batches every month following certain themes with no fee (unless using one of my bases)! • Character Linking
  Members now can link their character the same way it works on TH! Selecting the kid of relationship they have, you can even add comments to explain better their relation, to check it out just head to your character after approved!

• Character Folders
  Now you can organize your characters into folders! You can name, edit, delete, etc folders as you need!

• Deactivate Account
  If needed, members can now deactivate their account in settings!

• Redeeming Codes
  From time to time the staff will release prize codes that can be claimed by the community to gain rewards! That will include discount coupons!

• Donation Shop
  The gift shop has been replaced by the donation shop! The welcome gift can be claimed at Tokens once again (the welcome MYO comes with 2 UC now in case people want to save those for future characters!), members can donate items to this shop! Seasonal spells won't be available to be donated though!

• Prompt Quests
  A new category of prompts! Quests are usually divided in 3 prompts, they come with loot tables that can give all sorts of extra rewards! You will only unlock the next prompt by doing the previous one!

• Prompt criteria
  A new system of prompt rewarding! Rewards now have double or even higher than before for prompts, it now works like Artfight when submitting your prompt, you can select what sort of work you are submitting within the breakdown!

• Weather and seasons
  Those now are displayed above Featured Character!

• Character Warning
  Members can now select it when editing the profile in case their character contain any sensitive topic!

• Emotes
  LK now has emotes!

• Box items
  Some items now will work as boxes! This gives us the opportunity to bring back bundles which have a discount price!
• New pages
  Awards and Behaviors now have their own pages for better visualization!

  A new topic has been added: Calendar! There you can view the yearly calendar of corceïs, holidays, weeks, signs, seasons, etc!

• A new transformation!
  Plagued has been added to transformations! Does not require any special token, only the addition of the plagued trait which is free.

• Raffles
  Raffles have returned! We plan on soon hosting a few ones, our raffles work this way: You get 1x ticket per time you show proof of sharing about corceïs around! Remember that every time a friend you invited joins, you can claim 1UC trait!

• Shop categories
  Shops now are divided by category for easier visualization.

• Captcha
  For better protection, Captcha has been added to the site.

• Selected Character
  Members now can have a character featured in their profile!

• News widget
  News is now displayed on the home page as well!

• Discord widget
  The discord widget now appears on the home page when logged!

• Map (WIP)
  On the Postinen page, the map will soon become clickable! By hovering above each province you can view its name, plus by clicking, it takes you directly to their location! For now, members can check locations by clicking on Check Provinces below!

• Option boxes
  Certain bundles in the future may give you the ability to select one of the options inside it!

• Terms pop up
  Now when entering the website, a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm you are above 15 years old and read through the terms of service!

• Timed prompts
  Seasonal prompts will now naturally come back with this code! so there is no risk of it coming later than expected, we may also do some... Exclusive prompts that give unique rewards, we will see!
  
  

Next update

Now it may take a while for our next update, possibly bigger than the previous ones! As we are waiting for the release of lorekeeper 3.0.0 to main! It will open a lot of possibilities to our website as it brings a lot of new functions and extensions that are currently only available in that version! We are not sure however when such an update will be out but, we will be keeping the community updated!

• Map is now working! If you hover above it, the name of each location will appear + clicking on it will take you to the location's info page!

• The Welcome Gift (MYO slot) now does not come with any traits, instead, those can be claimed as a separate item in the Token shop! Only first-time owners will be able to claim those however, they have a Choice Box option, which allows you to select 1 of the two options it gives (2UC or 1R)

• How do I join the raffle?
  Members can enter the raffle via Tickets! Tickets can be claimed in the Claim area of the lorekeeper, you need to select the raffle you want to receive the ticket for in rewards + show proof! Members can get multiple tickets to make the chances higher of winning this design!

• How do I get tickets?

Mother Plague

She now has an official art displayed at Magic, and Figures! You can also find her in the NPC masterlist! Next week I'll be working on adding the three remaining examples of how the plague progresses.

Small Lorekeeper updates

• Now the main currency (Crystal shards) appears beside the time on top of your user.
• 1x new item has been added to the Autumn shop: Candle Horn.
• 1x new item has been added to the Winter shop: Yarn mane.
• 3x new items have been added to the Mod. Shop: Robotic wings, glitching horn, and glitching body.

New ko-fi tier

A new tier has arrived our ko-fi! Chibified Cor, in this tier you receive all rewards from the Rare tier + a chance to claim 1 discounted slot for a chibi cor, the claiming will be done via Discord, currently, this tier only has 5 slots, and chibis may take 1 month to be completed at max!

Future stuff

I also plan to redo some art from the Lorekeeper and website, so new discounted off-base custom slots may rise! I plan on redoing the entire life cycle examples, the NPC's art (shop and fullbodies), and the Discord icon!

Spring Borders

Certain spring prompts, such as Blooming Garden, Chocolate-ing! and Bloftis! now also reward exclusive spring user borders! If you already have completed one more of those prompts please send a claim with proof so we may reward you with the border desired!

Foraging

Corceïs now counts with a foraging system! Where currently you can forage the Wastelands for multiple kinds of rewards such as currency, uncommon and rare traits, and even the plagued trait! And Mariëls Garden! However this one will only be available during spring! It works with a stamina drain system, users have the total of 7 daily stamina, each forage has their own stamina drain as well! And of course, you can select the character you wish to go into that foraging! We will also be looking to hire (or if anyone wants to volunteer) for artists to do art for both forages! You can check Foraging in Resources.

Plagued trait

The plagued trait was moved to Exclusive rarity, meaning it is no longer "free", but you can obtain it via the Plagued prompt (coming out this month) and Foraging! It cannot be obtained via breeding however.

User shops

Users can now set up their own shops and visit other member's shops! You can view more about it at Resources, and of course, set your own at your profile's tab!

Inbox

Members can now message each other in Lorekeeper using Inbox!

Fauna Contest

The 2024 Fauna Contest is officially over and here is the list of winners!

All creatures will be added this month as we finalize other details! Some creatures may suffer changes in their description/art (if needed) but everything will go through the winners! Thank you all for participating, I'll be rewarding all participants later today.

Referral Rewards + new award

Instead of having to open a Claim to receive your reward for inviting a friend, members can automatically receive it! How you may ask, simple: Now when a new member goes to register, they can select who they were Referred By! So make sure to inform them about it and your username in Lorekeeper. Remembering the reward is 1UC trait per friend that joins + Our newest Award, the Sharing Around award!

New members can now register using their Toyhouse or Deviantart accounts! We added it due to how long the email verification process can take.

Library

Under the world tab, members can now find a Library page! There me and the staff will be working on books to publish! Some will be lore related, scientific papers and even common fairytales in Postinen! We may or may not also hold yearly contests for books!

Character updates

Characters have received 2 updates! Traits will now show up as grouped per category for better organization. Members can now add Custom values in their characters profiles! It allows you to create fields of information, group them, etc as you wish for any extra information, ofc, keep it SFW.

Mutation inheriting

The limit was raised from 2 to 5 mutations that can be inherited from parents, remembering there is a 50% chance of inheriting it!

The spring shop had its prices raised to match the other seasonal shops! 10 new traits have been added!

Some members have presented me with a new idea for a new category of traits, so I present you guys... Scent Gland traits! Counting with 14 unique traits that can be combined, Scent Glands now are divided into Common, Uncommon and Rare traits! If any cor before this announcement has a paid trait, they will be given this trait for free.

Trait Index update

Minor NPC update

Clementine's shop sprite and ML image have been updated! The rest of the npcs will have their art updated this month as well.

Criteria Rewards update

Criteria Rewards has received a minor update: Members can now be rewarded for an unlimited number of cors featured in their prompts, instead of the max reward being given to 4 cors or more. Basically, it will multiply the reward every time you add a new cor into the prompt, there is no limit to how many cors can be used in a prompt, same to pets and mounts. And also: Backgrounds! It now has its own criteria reward breakdown, it can get extra value if rendered/shaded, and of course, if you wish to do a comic, each panel will be rewarded separately!

This activity allows members to cultivate their own resources! Aka, breeding tokens (that now are divided in a few different categories depending on what they are). We currently got:

Emerald Market + Adrian NPC + New prompt

Due to the addition of cultivation, we have decided it was time to add a new face into our npc gang! Meet Adrian! A disabled cor that alongside their grandma, help take care of the Emerald Market! In the Emerald Market you can buy groceries (breeding tokens) and all items that are needed for cultivation! It also means that the Welcome to Callasta quest line received an extra quest! Your final destination: The Emerald Market! By finishing all four quests, you can gain extra rewards and the Welcome to Callasta Award! Links:

Crafting + New item

Crafting has also arrived in Postinen! Currently it is only used to craft and exchange trait tokens! It works the following way:

Token Pieces can be obtained by Foraging (4% chance), doing Prompts (6% chance) or Dailies! Because of this update, the wheels had their items changed!

Three new fun mechanics have been added!

• Oekaki: A drawing program within Lorekeeper! With layers, tools, etc.
• Higher or Lower: A game where you have to guess if the next number is higher or lower! Can give rewards if you win!

Lineage update

With the new version of the breeding extension, lineages are now filled automatically when a Pairing Slot is made! I am hoping to perhaps this next month getting enough funds to make some small changes to the extension, that way members can select the desirable traits when making the slot!

Automatic Ko-fi Rewards

Ko-fi rewards are now given automatically (not this month tho! It only starts working when payment passes through it), members may need to connect their ko-fi with it and have their ko-fi account under the same email!

Seasonal NPC contest

This contest happens every year, in which members will be able to submit designs and storylines for characters that will be featured next year in the seasonal events! There are no limitations design wise. Members can learn more about it Here.

Two new prompts have been added (or rather, moved) to Lorekeeper!

• Weekly prompts! The theme for each week will continue to be sent at ⁠weekly-prompts but now they must be submitted at the lorekeeper!

• Gifting spirit, this prompt was added in hopes to encourage members to gift each other! You can get 5cs from each character featured, and it can be done twice a week with no limits of characters!

Seed tag item monthly limit

Items that work as seeds for cultibation now can only be bought 4x times during the month, and they no longer reward seeds after being cultivated.

Their costs have also been raised, so by cultivating you get around 20-30% discount (even higher if the plot you planted rewards you more than one item, most loots can reward up to 3x items that were cultivated.)

This is to avoid too much profiting over cultivation.

NPCs toyhouse

NPCs masterlists now include their TH links! Adrian, Caspian and Robin are currently missing links.

The Mismatched Mutation has been added to the Mutation Laboratory! This mutation allows cors to display different traits of the same category (Ears, eyes, tails, hooves, etc), when using this trait, please specify in the trait comments where it has been applied to! If you cor already has this trait, please submit a claim so we can edit the trait list, as they will be given this new mutation for free.

CS for DP

Members can now buy 3cs with 1dp in the token shop!

Cultivated items

Items that have been cultivated will now appear as "item X (Cultivated)", this means those items have a lower sale value than the ones found in the Market!

Meet the NPCs

The links now send to the characters ML profiles!

The items mentioned in #updates-❕ have been removed from the shops, me and the staff are working on the new spells that will be replacing those! In total, we removed nearly 30 spells, and will only be including 4 new spells! Bug wings and Garden wings will fuse some of the spells mentioned in the list into them, making them easier to understand and obtain!

Once the art is complete, we will be updating the characters who had the traits on the list with those new spells, and deleting the old traits!

I'll also be including in the newbie guide, how combining traits can work! I'll be using the art from the deleted spells there as visual examples :blush_cat: !

Pairing Cooldown

The pairing cooldown (pairing between two cors) has been raised to 30 days!

This does not affect the cor themselves, they can still be paired with other cors, just not the same during this period.

New trait

Petal Horn Texture (UC) has been added!

Mutation Laboratory

Now this, is where things get interesting!

First! The laboratory is no longer available for foraging, and below is the reason why:

It has become part of Cultivation!

Members can obtain access to it via completing the Mutation Laboratory prompt at least once! It will grant you a few items, including the **Laboratory Access Card!**

One of the items it grants as well... Is the Unknown Substance!

This item can be used to cultivate a new addition to the Mutation Laboratory... the Mutation Shot! This item raises the chance of passing down mutations to offspring (including pets!)

Speaking of which, it has been lowered to 40% chance, with the Mutation Shot, it raises the chance to 60%!

The mutation laboratory prompt is now it's own prompt, no longer connected to Welcome to Callasta quests.

Wheel of Treasures

Currently, the Unknown Subtance can only be obtained by completing the prompt (grants you 4x) aaand... The Wheel of Treasures! Which has been updated to include it!

Humanoid Version

Much like the anthro dimension, members can now make official humanoid version of their cors! Or, make a new cor that is just the humanoid version! I may be sooner or later be releasing a FTU base but not sure when You can visit the Anatomy Guide to learn more about this version!

Lorekeeper Logo

Once members clean their cache, you may notice on desktop that a new logo has been added to the banner of the site! For now, our dear Gabe is just a placeholder! As we are hosting a mini contest that ends next week! You can learn more about it here: ⁠logo-contest-🏆

Carousel Feature

Now at the home pages, members can see above news extra content in banners that slide to the sides! There we will be displaying about events, big raffles, etc.

Pronouns

When editing the profile of your character, you may come across Pronouns! When you add one, it will appear on their main information above traits!

• Raffles now appears beside News, whenever a new raffle is up, the tab will show a notification just like News and Sales.

By choosing a team, you will receive that team's package which include the team's award and access to that team's shop! Make sure to choose wisely, as once you join a team you cannot leave it!

• How does teams shops work? Why is there a new currency?

Users can use this new currency, Seastars, to buy items at their teams shops! Such as trait tokens, user borders, other kinds of currencies, and of course, raffle tickets to participate on their team's design raffles! Reminding that the more tickets you have, the higher the chances of you winning the design!

• How does the raffle work?
  

Users can buy the tickets at their respective shops! BUT, they can also get 1x Ticket per friend they manage to invite! All they gotta do is join our lorekeeper! Members will be able to open claims to claim the ticket, of course, you will have to attach proof of being the one responsible for them joining. And do not forget you also get 1UC trait per person that refers to you when registering!

Library + New NPC

We have been working very hard on this update, but now the Library is fully functional! The Magic and Lore tabs under World will now send to their own books, written by me, at the Library! We are working on bringing to life many other kinds of books, which @SUPERCOOL is currently working on updating so that books are organized by category (Canon, user submitted, etc)

• Users can now submit books at ⁠our Discord Server!

You heard me! Users are free to submit books written by them there, and we may or not add them to the lorekeeper! Users can also attach their characters as the authors of said books!

Users can now do the Callasta Library Prompt! In the future it will be giving access to exclusive books!

• New Books!

Now we count with 4 books in total (one is currently missing the book art), that show a bit of how corceïs society function! We plan on releasing at least other 5 official books this year!

New Cutscenes

Cutscenes have now been added to prompts that feature NPCs! In those cutscenes you can learn a bit more of each NPC and how the day to day life of most cors work, as well as a few lore hints here and there! Cutscenes are available at:

We also plan on updating LK so that it is easier to find our current merch! Speaking of it, we only have 5 remaining Gabe pins! Those might not ever be available again! I am happy to announce we have two new NPCs, meet: Sasha and Colt! 

With the addition of both new npcs, a few new functions have been added:

• 2x New Plushies (If you have already finished the collection you cannot reclaim the reward).
• 1x New Prompt, The Cherry Casino!
• 2x new Cutscenes, at the Cherry Casino prompt AND Cultivation Prompt!
• Upon completing the Cultivation prompt, users will receive access to the following areas: Bee Hive, Greenhouse, Stable and Pixin Coop.

800 Cors celebration!

To celebrate we have reached 800 official cors, starting now every friend you invite, that joins the lorekeeper, you will be rewarded 1x Rare trait + 1 MYO slot per friend invited. All they gotta do is refer to you upon registering! You also get the Sharing Around Award. BUT, this event ends Sunday! After that the referring reward will go back to 1UC.

3000 seastar goal surpassed!

Jesus christ you guys have surpassed another goal! Because of that, participants can claim 1 "free" UC trait at their team's respective shop. Our next goal now is 5000 seastars!
